Senior Sensei Mark

I have been a Karate Instructor for 15 years with British Karate Jitsu Kai, Shotokan Karate, G.K.R Karate, Kenshu Kai Karate, Shinzui Kai Karate, And now cheif Instructor of Shikata Kai Karate.

I am a 3rd Dan Black Belt and also a 1st Dan Black Belt in Kickboxing, I am a qualified examiner and instructor by the F.S.K.A (free style karate association) and also by the W.K.A (world kickboxing association) and is CRB checked by the associations and by the metropolitan police.

I also work closely with schools and collages dueing school term teaching school childern self defence, martial arts, life skills, & awareness. The schools and collages i work with are Rowdown Jnr School, Charles Darwin Snr School. and also Education Excellance Collage at Brighton Road.

I teach Traditional based Japanese Karate and focus on the students of all ages from 5 years old to 40 years old, Helping and teaching Co-ordination, Respect, Concentration, Confidence, Self-Defence and most of all Discipline. I also work close with students (childern) who have A.D.H.D and disabillities.

As a club we take the discipline and etiquette of Karate-Do very seriously as this gives us balance and helps build spirit. I promote my club as a friendly family club and try to invovle parents as  much as possible.
