We at Shikata Kai Karate would like to welcome you to the wonderful world of Karate. We teach traditional Karate where you can learn self discipline, self control, respect, honour and self defence. All of our classes take place in a friendly family enviroment. Classes take place on a Tuesday from 6pm to 7.30pm at St. Edwards Church, New Addington. Shikata Kai Karate is based on traditional disciplines of Japanese Karate. Shikata Kai studies the main styles of Shotokan, Goju, Okinawan and practice the way of Mushin, Zen and Budo. Shikata Kai is also focused towards personal development, self discipline, respect, honour and the philosophies of Karate-Do "The Way Of". As a club we take the discipline and etiquette very seriously as this gives balance and helps to build spirit. But there is also room for fun !!
